Material
Waste paper, newspapers, office paper, and mixed fibre
The processing problem
Loose paper fills cages and trailers long before it hits a useful shipping weight.
Why this process is used
Paper bales cut storage volume and make mill-bound loads cheaper to move.
Paper baling is handled on Narshinga vertical and horizontal hydraulic baling presses. Automatic vertical machines suit sites that want a small footprint and hopper or chute feed. Horizontal machines are specified where conveyor feed and higher daily tonnes are required.
Carton-heavy streams are covered on the cardboard baling page; mixed dry fibre can run on the same horizontal platform when the chamber is sized for it.
Operational considerations
- Wet or heavily contaminated paper should be discussed before specifying a mill-grade bale.
- Printers and warehouses with modest volume often start with a vertical baler; MRFs and mills usually need horizontal throughput.
- Tie wire or strapping method should match what the receiving mill accepts.
Recommended machine family: Paper Baling Press Machines. Final model is confirmed by engineering.

FAQs
Vertical presses suit lower daily volume and smaller rooms. Horizontal presses suit continuous feed and higher tonnes per day. Share your daily kilograms and available floor space so engineering can confirm.
